Pete and Michael Raskovic have a rich history in racing. Pete’s passion and experience in racing goes back decades. Growing up in the part of Pennsylvania, known as “Eastern Dirt Modified Country” Pete is an experienced and seasoned race mechanic who has worked with various teams over the years including the Indy Racing League Team of his childhood hero, the legendary A.J.Foyt.
Pete previously managed the ABC Supply Company short-track stock car racing team owned by his close friend and mentor, the late Ken Hendricks, CEO and owner of ABC Supply Company, the nation’s largest roofing and siding distributor. They had many wins in the years that they worked together and were a force to be reckoned with on the track with drivers such as Zack “Showtime” Riddle and Johnny “The Comet” Baumeister.
In recent years, Pete has owned and operated his own his own multi-car asphalt stock car team. His son Michael, growing up around the team and helping at an early age started driving the big stock cars at age 12 and was at
the controls of the family owned and operated R&R Motorsports racecars. Michael has
enjoyed a tremendous amount of success with
numerous wins, and top-ten finishes. He holds the distinction of being the first driver in the history the sport to win an asphalt stock car feature race using E98 (98%) Ethanol as a fuel. Michael has been an effective brand ambassador for the ethanol industry showing first-hand, in a dynamic racing situation, the benefits of this fuel as it relates to performance, renewability and environmental responsibility.
In 2019 Michael Raskovic has take over ownership of the team which has now changed its name to MRR (Michael Raskovic Racing)
Michael remains as the team’s primary driver. Pete now focuses on the business end of the organization as well as media, public and sponsor relations.
For 2020 Michael will be racing late model stock cars locally and will make his national debut in the Arca Menards Series and will be driving limited number of races.
